Four texts at midnight,

Three new complaints,

On the fifth day of Christmas

My assistant sent to me

Five holiday requests,

Four texts at midnight,

Three new complaints,

Two patient tasks,

And a sick note as she was poorly.

On the sixth day of Christmas,

My secretary sent to me

Six letters for signing,

Five holiday requests,

Four texts at midnight,

Three new complaints,

Two patient tasks,

And a sick note as she was poorly.

On the seventh day of Christmas

My dispenser sent to me

Seven significant events,

Six letters for signing,

Five holiday requests,

Four texts at midnight,

Three new complaints,

Two patient tasks,

On the eighth day of Christmas

The salaried GP sent to me

Eight requests for study leave,

Seven significant events,

Six letters for signing,

Five holiday requests,

Four texts at midnight,

My medical student sent to me

Nine days’ notice she’s arriving,

Eight requests for study leave,

Seven significant events,

Six letters for signing,

Five holiday requests,

On the tenth day of Christmas

The receptionist sent to me

Ten texts that she’s coughing,
