Across Primary Care, every day we come across inspirational individuals and teams who are achieving phenomenal results under increasingly challenging circumstances. Unfortunately, this exceptional work can sometimes go unnoticed; which is why a new and unique awards programme has been created.

The National Association of Primary Care and Williams Medical have teamed up to bring you the National Primary Care Awards 2016. Promising to be the most prestigious awards ceremony in UK healthcare, there are five recognition categories, comprising of:

  • Practice Manager of the Year
  • Unsung Hero of the Year
  • Clinician of the Year
  • Healthcare Provider of the Year
  • Pathway Innovation of the Year

All entries will be reviewed by a highly respected panel of judges which includes NAPC President & Senior GP Partner, Dr James Kingsland OBE, and former DH National Clinical Director for Primary Care, Professor David Colin-Thome.

HolidayThe deserving winners will be announced on Wednesday 19th October at a spectacular, black-tie gala dinner. In addition to receiving an illustrious trophy and enjoying a fabulous evening of celebrity entertainment, they’ll also be rewarded with a selection of prizes – featuring, complimentary medical supplies and a choice of luxurious holidays worth up to £1000!

Commenting on the awards, Sally Kitt, NAPC Chief Operating Officer said “we’re delighted to partner Williams Medical Supplies with the National Primary Care Awards 2016. The awards will pay testament to amazing work that is carried out in Primary Care and the event will be the perfect opportunity for us to pay tribute and thanks to all who are nominated.”

The deadline for submissions is Thursday September 1st 2016 and entries are welcomed from colleagues, peers or applicants directly. Who do you know who deserves special acknowledgement and reward? What successes would you to like share?
