An Open Letter to Professor Field CBE (Follow Up)

6th January 2016

Dear Professor Field,

You may recall I sent a letter over to you at the beginning of December last year in which

I raised my concerns regarding the proposed increase of CQC fees.  I have enclosed a copy of that letter for your reference.

I am concerned that I have not yet had a response from your office regarding those comments I have raised and wondered if you might now be in a position to reply?

I feel it is important to allay fears that we have regarding this increase in fees and I, and my colleagues, would appreciate your help with this matter.  If the Department of Health is definitely going to reimburse Primary Care, and a mechanism to do this will be in place this year, I am sure we would all feel much less anxious about the future.

I look forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,
Yours sincerely,

Nicola Hayward  MA
