Background

Portsdown Group Practice is a large, successful city practice in Portsmouth, with 183 staff across six sites, serving 44,000 patients. The multi-disciplinary team includes 30 GPs, eight Advanced Practitioners and five Clinical Pharmacists, along with a number of nursing and administrative support staff. The practice already has a positive reputation for delivering efficient, patient-centred care and is working towards its vision of providing a service that consistently exceeds expectations.

Portsdown were looking for a long-term business support solution to support its strategic vision of providing a single user-friendly platform for all the essential practice functions.

Moving to the HUB has allowed Portsdown to simplify their back-office processes, enabling them to focus on the main business of the day, providing excellent care for their patients.

What we use the HUB for

The HUB is a one-stop shop that is neat, intuitive, organised and very easy to use. Having training, policies and leave all in one place is so helpful for us and we like the fact that it is accessible from anywhere. It’s hard to believe we previously relied on a series of spreadsheets!
