Ways they use the HUB
Background
Malling Health is a group that looks after 15 GP practices and urgent care services. They work with CCGs to provide caretaking services and help commissioners improve standards of care. They were using various providers for all the different areas they needed to manage and wished it could all be in one place.
Malling Health started using the Learning Package after their previous provider closed down. Holidays were organised on a spreadsheet with all calculations done by the individual managers. Now, everything is simple and streamlined, and they’re hoping to add the HR Package next!
What we use the HUB for
We use the HUB a little differently to most. As a group, we need to know how each organisation is performing in terms of its training, the incidents that are being reported, the compliments and complaints, but equally, they need to know how they’re performing individually because they need to report to their commission. Feedback from staff has been extremely positive.
The Learning Package is excellent. We really like having links to the eLearning modules on eLfH, and we can add our own modules as well. We do a monthly CPD training workshop where a GP will have developed some training and we deliver it via Teams to a group of around 70 people. I can add the presentation and the recording onto our YouTube channel and then upload it to the HUB, so anyone who missed it can still watch it, and then it’s logged that they’ve completed it.
It’s so easy to present accurate data on their performance now; it has saved me hours each time and I can pull learning from all the HUBs into one report instantly. It’s just fantastic!
