What is Facilitated Learning?

Facilitated learning offers a mix of learning activities aimed at enhancing the learning experience. It is a step away from the traditional eLearning approach, aimed at bringing the trainer to the practice virtually. It should be guided by a nominated member of the team.

Overview

This informative course follows a blended learning approach and explains to learners the need to be open, transparent and honest with every patient when something goes wrong or has the potential to cause harm or distress. The course also clarifies to learners the requirements of the duty of candour and how to apologise in a meaningful way.
