iGPR™ facilitates electronic insurance report requests and can also be used to create other third party reports that GPs receive.
A variety of reports encompassing GPRs, targeted reports and individual insurer reports can be generated by iGPR and a variety of fees are now in existence, set by each insurer.

The process of producing these reports has long been a time consuming and often frustrating task for practice staff and in light of this there has been a recent shift in the insurance industry to make a conscious move away from sending paper, in line with the paperless targets of the NHS.

SAR (Subject Access Request) Legislation is NO LONGER used by ANY Insurer to make electronic insurance report requests, and ALL requests made via iGPR are under AMRA (Access to Medical Records Act) legislation as recently advised by the ICO.

The majority of UK insurers are using or shortly to begin using iGPR™ to send their insurance report requests electronically with the iGPR™ software provided by Niche Health to all UK General Practices at no cost.

Currently Legal & General, Aviva, Royal London and Aegon are using iGPR to send electronic requests into practices and over the summer months Zurich and another large provider will also go live with iGPR.

By using the new system to provide the necessary medical evidence for your patient, your practice will experience the following benefits:

IGPR sent a representative to train several members of our admin team to learn how to process medical insurance reports via IGPR. I am pleased to say that the morning was a great success in terms of understanding how to electronically deal with these reports in the most efficient and accurate way.

The staff who took part were highly motivated by the interactive session and now feel both better equipped and more confident in their ability to manage this process.

As a large practice, every penny saved or claimed makes a difference to the quality and provision of care and service to our patients. I therefore cannot praise Kevin at IGPR highly enough and have no hesitation of offering this endorsement of their services.

Spoke to Kevin from Niche today - he spent over an hour and was extremely helpful. He remotely logged in and showed me how to process insurance reports via iGPR and answered any questions I had. This software should potentially save a lot of time and therefore money in the long term. This is also a much more secure method of checking documents than going through them manually - the redaction software is impressive. There is always someone from the friendly team available to answer questions or provide support. Highly recommended. Thank you!

We purchased create report for solicitors reports and this is far more secure because we can encrypt on to a disk therefore not printing out the reports and this saves on postage , paper and toner. We recommend this to other surgeries

We haven't received many iGPR requests as yet but of the ones that we have processed I can definitely see the benefits of it to our Surgery, especially for the GP's who have very little time for administrative work these days. The process is streamlined, quick and easy and only the absolute minimum, but necessary, information is requested by the Insurance Company of which we are still able to review and retract if neccessary, ensuring maximum patient confidentiality.

This saves me so much time - a report can be completed in minutes - wish all the companies used this method.
Should you have a problem the friendly people at Niche health are always on hand to help out, I have not had a question they cannot answer yet.
If you are unsure whether to use this or not - give it a go you will be amazed how easy it is.
