What we do and how we work with you

Here at Virprac we operate as part of your existing in-house team expanding your non-clinical workforce without the additional work and costs of recruitment. Work is carried out in real time, via your existing clinical IT system. This can give your existing staff the opportunity to pursue more enhanced roles like Primary Care Navigators, Dementia and Cancer Champions and much more. We offer an array of administrative services to add value to your practice, we process your clinical documents, manage your annual recalls and DNA’s, run vaccination campaigns, and clear backlogs for you, there is complete flexibility!

 

  • Clinical correspondence – high quality clinical coding, follow ups which are escalated to clinicians in line with practice protocols.
  • Electronic documents – incoming documentation is all coded and filed, this includes hospitals letters, vaccination notifications, retinal screening summaries etc.
  • Data quality checks – data quality checks and periodic reports are provided to all clients to maintain high quality standards; this provides evidence of risk management and service improvement which can be used for CQC inspection. 
  • Monthly recalls – reporting on and actioning all categories of patient recalls.
  • Letters to patients – practice specific letters that can be used to engage with poor attenders. Direct patient communication is made using your preferred solution.
  • Recall setup for newly registered patients – review of records for newly registered patients to ensure appropriate recalls are set up for ongoing review – this service can be upgraded.
  • Patient communication – we can communicate with your patients direct via letters and SMS services. We also mange missed appointments by providing actions and follow in line with your practice policy.

We have been using Virprac for a while now and my GP's wouldn't do without them. Cath (the owner) is an ex-PM and fully understands the challenges faced by general practice.
They are supportive and work alongside my existing team and are very responsive to any change in needs.
When we set up the agreement of working they were flexible and able to offer a customised service.
In short if you are looking to outsource coding and clinical correspondence I would recommend having a chat with Cath and seeing how Virprac can help.
