We have been using AccurRx for 3 years now and it is amazing how much time this has saved both our clinical team and admin team. It also is of great benefit to our patients. It makes recalling patients and inviting patients to clinics so much easier. I actually wonder how we coped beforehand now!

accuRx chain has improved our lives at the surgery, clinical and admin alike. Stopping frustrating telephone catch up calls, improving ability to contact our patients about forms/letters that have been completed, results etc, and sending links to useful information, PIL, mental health emergency numbers, signposting, reducing printing/sending letters. able to create our own templates. Protocols automatically sending patient reminders. Florey questionnaires to help with QOF data collection from patients who are otherwise reluctant to engage.
All the features we have for free (!) are already brilliant, if local CCG would sign up to cover SMS cost so we could get unlimited protocols and additional Florey questionnaires.
The installation was easy even for a non technically minded clinician, and it is intuitive to use, no training needed.
it is automatically coding message into medical notes. team are ready at hand for helping if any issues, online or via FB user group.

The AccuRx/Chain SMS service has vastly improved my communication with patients and reduced the workload for my reception staff.

There aren't many step changes in the way we work, AccuRx Chain text messaging is one. In a very short period of time and a seemless deployment process, the team at AccuRx have transformed our working lives. It was admittedly an overdue idea and one that patients thought we'd already got, but the ability to securely SMS patients with information, hyperlinks and now interactive questionnaires has been remarkable. We use it every day to assist with all aspects of acute and chronic disease health care, as well as admin. The Team are repsonsive to ideas and continue to develop. Exactly the right modular model for health informatics in the future. Well done!

Huge opportunistic potential. Time saving. Have started sending PILS to patients within consultation saving time and paper. Asthma Questionnaires helped identify those needing most urgent review and helped to hit QOF targets ( though probably less useful from April 2020 as new QOF targets )

Amazing! User friendly and relevant, has made our recall processes so much quicker and easier. Florey Questionnaires have also allowed us to reach patients who would normally not engage with primary care as much, thus great potential to enhance population health campaigns.

Brilliant. Has massively improved and simplified my working day. It allows me to close loops, be that results, letters, prescriptions or patient tasks. It provides an invaluable way to allow safety netting to be communicated and it works seamlessly with EMIS. It frees up reception, nurse and admin team time - for instance, they send me questions and I send the answer direct to the patients, rather than the old way of replying to them and relying on them to accurately pass on my response. Pathways is something I am going to use increasingly, a clever and slick idea.

Unbelievable. This has been a complete game changer - the biggest since EMIS Web. I am so happy that I took advice at the beginning and installed Accu-Rx for my practice. We all love it and genuinely don't know what we'd do without it.

AccuRx text communications are a game changer! All our staff, including the GPs, love using it - especially now we have Pathways and Florey Surveys! We've created our own templates as well as using the huge selection available from AccuRx. Love it! On the few occasions I've needed to contact support, they have been excellent too - very helpful and quick to respond.

Fast easy communication with patients. Does what it says on the tin!

AccuRx Chain is amazing- it works simply, reliably and elegantly, is intuitive and unbelievably is Free! The setup is straightforward and it works out of the box. It has revolutionised the way we interact with patients. We use another system for bulk campaigns but to send a simple SSM direct from your desktop - say on dealing with a letter, script request or path result AND have the message written back to EMIS automatically (and maybe delay the late evening message until tomorrow morning) is simply lovely and saves a load of time trying to track down a patient on the phone. And you send set up any number of bespoke template messages or use the ones provided. Yes, you do need to be careful what you write lest someone else picks up the phone and be sure you know whether the patient has responded to anything important but as it stands it is already wonderful (and the AccuRx boys and girls are such lovely, helpful people too) I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

I Received an e-shot - was sceptical at first but noted that accu.Rx are an emis partner co & this is a new product. Activated via EMAS so safe / assured.
Initially giving away free access to base system. Allows you to send instant texts to patients from icon that hovers over emis - some pre-popluated templates or can amend / customise - very fast & effective & populates immediately into consultation - Staff & Doctors love it!

Excellent tool for contacting patients! Reducing staff time by trying to get hold of patients by phone. All recorded in the patient record too! Fantastic !

It's so easy to use and definitely works "it's the best thing since sliced bread", even the doctor uses it when he wants a patient to come and see him. I definitely recommend accuRx.

This is an excellent EMIS partner API service which allows users to send free SMS text messages to patients and record these messages directly in to EMIS. There are also very good prepopulated template messages which can be selected for quick messaging. The product works really well and is extremely useful particularly when we make failed calls to mobile phones. I just hope this service will continue to be free.

Accurx are a very innovative company and their chain SMS software has been designed with practices in mind. One of the best features about this company is their responsive nature and their desire to constantly improve.

This text messaging service is excellent! its quick efficient and convenient. I most defiantly would recommend this to everyone in NHS.

I find accuRx great for messaging, much better than Mjog and I an happy to hear that they are working on batch messaging.
I also love the message length as it make it much easier to use this for a wider range of things we need to communicate to our patients. Mjog is very limited in that respect.
However, I am struggling to gain access to the enhanced features despite sending multiple messages to all the EMIS practices i know of locally.
I am also a bit concerned as the feedback we get from accuRx saying we have only sent a few messages. We use this right across the practice for individual messages (instead of Mjog which we also have) but there is no audit trail to say the message has actually been sent other than the entry in the patient record. In Mjog at least there is a trail of sent, undelivered etc.
I know it is early days and I think that accuRx will one day overtake Mjog but at the moment there are still a few things which need ironing out or updating.

I am really impressed with this new service.
The text messaging service is quick,efficient and simple for staff to use, as its linked to our Emis software it attaches the text to the patient record immediately and we are finding patients respond much quicker reducing the amount of tasks reception have to call or write to.

accuRx is a great help to the practice and it's free!
All our GPs are using it. Now instead of replying to a task from reception to tell the patient about medication or test result, the send a text. It really has made a huge difference. Next to begin using it will be the reception.

An excellent service, very easy to use and allows messages to be sent to patients at short notice.

It is excellent. We use it a lot. It's especially good for sharing information that usually we used to print and give t patients such as patient information leaflets or information about results. Patients number can be confirmed during the consultation and the message can be sent to them immediately. It is quicker as well. It has changed the way we do things at our practice. GP's and nurses love it, admin staff love it too as its less work for them The best part is the text is entered into Emis notes automatically.
It has a tiny window which stays on top of Emis and automatically gets the patient details when you open their records in Emis.
We have been using it for 2 months now and its really good.
The basic version is free to use.

We are just using the send text part of this app so far and I wholeheartedly recommend it. As a GP it's great for letting people know quick mainly transactional things like a problem with a repeat prescription or about a result which would previously taken a phone call but for our admin team it is revolutionising call and recall for LTCs- give it a try!

Excellent App. Has really saved me a lot of time. I also am able to text diet sheet links/exercise links/otc recommendations whilst the patient is in my clinic so it goes straight to their phone and not give them a piece of paper which they can sometimes lose. Great for saving time with reviewing results. Great APP!

It saves the time receptionist use to write to pateint to come in.

Really effective and intuitive texting system with good character limits and good integration to EMISWeb. Transforming patient education with textable links to PILs instead of printouts. Character limits allow meaningful clinical information to be delivered with a low call-back rate. Texts appear as consultations, so there is clarity for team working and medico-legal risk management is superb. Love this software.
