We have been with focus group for nearly two years. We changed to them as part of a pilot to a new Cegedim Hosted solution, to which focus are developing an integration piece.

As a telecoms provider, they have been excellent. I have a fair bit of experience of different providers and I feel focus and their team helps meet the needs of our practice and patients.

We have had few issues and the transition was seamless. The support team are great and very helpful when wanting to implement changes. They have a dedicated support portal making it very easy to log issues and get them resolved.

The dashboard that works with the handset system is easy to use and my staff adapted great to this change.


Call recording and reports are incredibly useful for the running of the practice and user friendly. When I have needed help setting specific reports up, the team are happy to help.
Overall I would highly recommend them as a telecoms provider based on my experience over the past two years.

Having used for many years I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any business looking for a reliable and helpful supplier of telephony. I have always received an excellent service and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Their levels of customer support and service is extraordinary, with emails being answered the same day and queries being resolved quickly. The new Gamma Horizon System, which we recently had installed, has helped us to work more efficiently and provided a future proofed service that can adapt to our needs as we grow.

Call queue and call back is fantastic, patients are liking it and it has significantly reduced complaints. No more headsets at expensive prices as you can purchase your own that are USB and fit into the PC. Remote working GP easily using the system and having calls recorded from home. Call recordings are easy to find. Generally happy with the system and awaiting S1 integration to be set up.

Really good range of tools to help make patient flow and staff workload easier. Good value for money and very responsive technical support. Cloud based system, including the call recording, system management and wallboard to monitor demand. Responsive to feedback.
Sometimes there is a mismatch in understanding of what is or isn't included in a service, but that's possibly my misunderstanding, them not 100% clear comms, and the product being quite technical and complicated! This is quite a small point and still leaves them head and shoulders above any other company we've had before - wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to another practice.

The complete process of moving to EVAD has been seamless & stress-free. Any question or query that has been raised has been answered or resolved in a matter of hours. Very happy with the provider, the switchover was very smooth and the level of access we have using the portal is great. Very easy and simple to understand after initial training.

Prior to joining EVAD cloud solution we had problems with our lines, they were constantly ringing and patients were being cut off, it was also impossible to get a line out at times. The transition to EVAD was managed excellently and we were in touch with Clare and Richard on a weekly basis to touch base and to discuss progress. On the actual day we moved over there was no down time and the engineers who came were professional, efficient and friendly.. We are now a week into using the cloud solution and the difference in managing calls could not be more efficient, our staff and patients are very happy with the system and we are safe in the knowledge that we have access to ongoing support when needed. The system is flexible and we would highly recommend Evad’s Think Healthcare Solution to any Practice wanting to improve their telephone communication system. All this at a competitive price too.

We moved all our 5 sites across in Jan/Feb 2022. The reasons for doing so was to improve reliability and customer service versus our old supplier, and also to improve functionality with features such as better queueing systems with position number stated, click to call, and improved call centre features. This was also a response to patient feedback on surveys and PPG discussions. So far, we are very pleased. The install team were superb in dealing with a large number of handsets being installed across 5 sites, and the training was excellent. Already the reliability, programming and recording features, and helpful data being produced about the level of calls, is as we hoped if not better, and the service received has been excellent. On top of this, the price we are paying is less than we were before. I would thoroughly recommend to any GP Practice looking to update their systems.

We are long-term customers and, in October 2021, upgraded our very old phone system to their modern, cloud-based Horizon system.
Everyone at the practice is really pleased with the new telephony system. We had a very successful installation week with the training team and were very impressed with how smoothly the setup and go-live went. We adapted to the new system and features very quickly and it has definitely brought many benefits to the practice.
I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic!!!! We were one of the first practices to come on board and EVAD have been a fantastic breath of fresh air. The helped with the transition. It was seamless. The 'Think Healthcare Team' (before they were even called that) were totally amazing with providing support and keeping us updated and informed. We had them before the pandemic - and having them meant we had no telephony issues working from home etc. I have recommended them to others and continue to recommend them several years on. Very flexible, scalable and adaptable system. Beast telephony service we have ever had.

We had our cloud based telephony solution installed yesterday. After much research, we decided on EVAD Think Healthcare, as they offered the very best solution compared with others, particularly with clinical system integration. I have to say their professionalism, approachability, customer service and all aspects of the journey have been outstanding (and I’m not usually easily impressed!). The installation went completely smoothly and was handled impeccably by the engineers and project team. From the outset their approach was that of imparting information, finding solutions, offering options and working with us, rather than any ‘hard sell’ approach. They are an excellent team to work with, across the board.

This is the first morning of installation and our call waiting times have reduced significantly – our patients are waiting no more the 8 minutes to get through to us, compared to at least 20-30mins on the old system. We have been able to effectively manage demand and signpost appropriately (including direct connection to the Patient Helpline) and the system’s functionality is superb. From the outset, our Reception Team noticed reduction in demand, as patients had been appropriately signposted at the point of contact, and because patients hadn’t been holding on for an age to get through, their whole demeanour when talking to the Receptionist is much more positive and appreciative. Reduction in abuse as a result of a new phone system? Miraculous! Thank you EVAD!

Coincidentally, (we had already chosen this provider based on performance) they won the GP Telephony Provider of the Year at the GP Practice Awards in December – and it is completely well deserved, based on our experience.

We have been able to effectively manage demand and signpost appropriately (including direct connection to the Patient Helpline) and the system’s functionality is superb. From the outset, our Reception Team noticed reduction in demand, as patients had been appropriately signposted at the point of contact, and because patients hadn’t been holding on for an age to get through, their whole demeanour when talking to the Receptionist is much more positive and appreciative. Reduction in abuse as a result of a new phone system? Miraculous! Thank you EVAD!

Coincidentally, (we had already chosen this provider based on performance) they won the GP Telephony Provider of the Year at the GP Practice Awards in December – and it is completely well deserved, based on our experience.

Brilliant service from the start. Staff were nervous but all of the EVAD team put us all to ease. We are only on week 1 and we already have noticed a huge difference to our phone lines and the improvement for our staff and patients being able to get through and not get the engaged tone all the time. Number in queue is working a treat and everyone at EVAD has been on board and supported us day of transition. Thank you EVAD

This practice has relied on Communications for many years. I have always found them to be particularly helpful and supportive with a very quick turnaround for support. I think having a local company has also been a great advantage. They have been very encouraging and non pushy about upgrading to new systems!

A brilliant company. The sales person explained everything. We had Stacey who oversaw everything. The engineers did a site visit and sorted out any potential issues. They spotted a problem with the installation and fixed it immediately. Training was made easy for the staff. They even helped us get out of our existing telephone contract. Excellent professional company. Highly recommend them.

We think that overall the system is efficient and works well. We have much more control over it and the calls are clearer and the recording and statistics are really helpful. The cost was excellent and meant we could go ahead with a new system. The actual instalment was good and caused limited disruption and the training for the users was good.
We think that the ‘super users’ would have benefitted from more training – possibly with a visit a month or so later once they had experience of using the system and could use real examples for training opportunities. Overall I think it has been a great improvement for minimal cost and disruption. When we have had to call in faults and problems these have been dealt with very courteously and efficiently.

I would recommend to any practice manager thinking about switching or updating their telephone system. We recently signed up as part of our relocation into a new purpose-built medical centre and are so glad that we chose them.
When we were first approached, we did not know what we really needed. Their advisor listened to our needs and made several recommendations, which we accepted in their entirety. His experience and advice were invaluable.
Our whole relocation had many challenges and problems. One of the only aspects which went really well was the installation of our phone system. This was thanks to the meticulously project management and support which they provided. Once the order was placed they dealt with everything and overcame many of the significant problems which we faced. T
Our ‘Go-Live’ date could not have gone any better. It was seamless without a single call being missed. We had brilliant support on the first few days in our new medical centre and have continued to receive this support ever since.
We have just seen the results from the 2019 GP Patient Survey. Our call handling has gone from one of the worst in our CCG to one of the best. The team have helped us to achieve this improvement by providing us with such a good system.
I would recommend any Practice Manager who is thinking about upgrading their phone system or is relocating to at least ask for a quote.

As a practice we have been using the company for the last 8 years, as a practice manager I have been using them for the last 15+. In all that time I have found their service to be outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They installed the Horizon hosted system for us 2 years ago in our main and branch surgeries and we haven't looked back. I would definitely recommend them to my fellow Practice Managers.

We had used this company at our branch surgery for a few years and were really pleased when merging with another practice we found that we were able to use their cloud system to merge the branch and main surgeries.
The whole team were very helpful in the setting up at both sites and did everything within a timely process which did not effect all of the other issues which come with a merge

The team have been the most customer orientated telecoms company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They have a state of the art demo room at their head office in Exeter, filled with the latest technology ranging from Cisco Meraki to the new Gamma Horizon system.
The reason we use them is firstly the reasonable price they offer but also their outstanding flexibility to tailor a package to suit our needs. The team are always helpful and quick with their responses.
A great company all round and I highly recommend. (If you can try get Philip Thomas, an outstanding Account Manager)

We moved over to the Cloud Hosted system after having a very old system. From start to finish the whole process was managed professionally. The installation engineers, trainer and project manager were all excellent. I cannot fault the service at all and the new system is far superior to what we have had. Even the patients have commented with good feed back. Thank you to everyone who was involved - I would highly recommend the system to others needing to upgrade.

We have recently moved over to the new Cloud-hosted telephone system. The transition went extremely well with the support of Chris the engineer who was calm and extremely knowledgeable, Stacey the Projection Manager always responded immediately to any queries and Kay the trainer who pitched her training to all the different staff perfectly. I would like to say a big thank you as some staff were very concerned with change but they have all embraced the new system because of the support given by the team.

Our expanding practice area and additional sites gave cause to review our telephone system, which was originally supplied by a different provider, with a view to moving to a cloud hosted system. We were provided with very competitive pricing, extensive training and support package by the team. I can't rate them highly enough for project management, installation, training and aftercare, tailoring the system to our requirements.

Recently switched to their cloud based system from an ancient system.
Installation was excellent, totally understood how it worked in GP surgeries and were more than happy to work around clinics and patients. Transfer and number porting happened quickly with only a tiny disruption. Whole team were excellent and friendly, after care so far as been great. Would definitely recommend.

When our provided telecoms contract ended, we had the opportunity to look around at suppliers to compare them, even though one was favoured by our CCG. This company was able to better them for capability and price. We had a few hiccups on the way, but nearly 4 months in and feedback from staff and patients has been very good - we're delighted!!

We recently switched, and we are very pleased with the professionalism of all involved. From the initial contact with James Hooker through to installation and set up of services, everybody has been a pleasure to work with. Training and support have been excellent and Chris our site engineer went the extra mile to ensure that everything was working as we needed it to. Stacey our Project Manager has been extremely responsive and a recent billing query was also answered promptly and comprehensively. The phone system has brought us into the 21st century at last - we no longer run out of lines so can always make and receive calls, have excellent call recording and monitoring capabilities, call queuing and integration with our clinical system (EMIS WEB). Staff are happy with the new handsets, headsets and ease of setting up and making changes, and the voicemail to email function is great for me so I can pick up and listen to my messages even if I am out of the office. We have used the paging facility for fire drills and to let staff know key information as this can be set to just admin or clinical staff or all phones. Overall, it was a great, smooth experience. Oh, and really good value too! I am really pleased that we chose them as our new provider.

We have been with this company for about 16 years and recently decided to update our Alcatel telephone system to a new Polycom. The team carried out the whole changeover seamlessly. The new system training was excellent, and the installers were great. I would recommend using them for your new telephone system.

This provider was chosen from a number of contractors to undertake a large installation for us covering surgeries providing for nearly 30k patients, and with branches spread over approx 8 miles. They were chosen due to the future-proofing that they could offer, vfm and reputation, as well as other factors. It was a complex installation for many reasons, but I was helped by a great Project Manager throughout who was accessible and sensible. Occasionally, even funny, but probably not that funny, tbh!! The installation itself was very well managed and we received excellent training and ongoing customer service is also excellent. I definitely recommend.
