Course description:
This interactive session will provide delegates with an overview of the Making Every Contact Count programme and learn about the positive impact that a focus on patient behaviour change during interactions can have on the patient’s health and wellbeing. Delegates will also have the opportunity to discuss the determinants of health and the Public Health top priority lifestyle factors.
Objectives
- Understand the Making Every Contact Count programme
- Recognise the positive impact that conversations about behaviour change can have on the health and wellbeing of patients and reduce or delay the need for medical intervention
- A discussion around the determinants of health and the Public Health priority lifestyle factors
- Integrating Making Every Contact Count into your role to support care navigation and patients’ health and wellbeing
