Safeguarding Children (Level 3)

Overview

Safeguarding Children Level 3 is for all clinical staff who may be expected to assess, plan, evaluate or intervene where there are safeguarding concerns. This course outlines the learner’s responsibilities at this level and how operating at this level involves an enhanced degree of understanding.

This mandatory training course has been aligned to the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF).

2. Recognise the need for early intervention
3. Appreciate the significance of collaborative working and sharing information
4. Gain an overview of professional responsibilities at this level
5. Understand the benefits of peer-to-peer reviews and implementing lessons learnt
