Safeguarding Adults (Level 1)

Overview

Adult Safeguarding Level 1 is the minimum level required for all staff working in healthcare. This course explains to learners how to recognise the signs that may indicate potential abuse, neglect or a form of harm and who to raise concerns with.

This mandatory training course has been aligned to the Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF).

Objectives

1. Understand the legislation that underpins adult safeguarding
2. Learn about the link between human rights and safeguarding
3. Understand the terminology associated with adult safeguarding
4. Know how to raise a safeguarding concern
