Overview

This course explains the processes that are crucial to ensuring the prevention of healthcare-associated infections. It also investigates the standards of infection prevention, including cleanliness, that are required in general practice. Learners will gain an overview of antimicrobial resistance and will understand what actions can be taken to reduce resistance.
