Overview
This course is comprised of 17 modules and is aimed at supporting new HCAs to achieve the care certificate. This course is to be completed in conjunction with a workplace assessor who will support the HCA in achieving the required competencies.
Objectives
1. Understand the rationale for the care certificate standards
2. Understand the 15 care certificate standards
3. Gain an understanding of the assessment process
4. Understand the criteria to be met in order to be an assessor
5. Gain an understanding of the criteria to be met in order to meet each of the 15 standards
