Practice Manager

Minchinhampton Surgery is a successful and popular semi-rural, training and research practice with 7650 patients and 6 GP Partners. We have an Outstanding CQC rating and a supportive Patient Participation Group and a Charitable Trust. We are part of the thriving Stroud Cotswold Primary Care Network.

Due to retirement in December 2020, an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Practice Manager to join the team to lead in the day to day running of the practice and play an active role in future development plans. These include moving to a new purpose built surgery within the town.

We require a diligent and intelligent Practice Manager with excellent organisational, financial and communication skills to maintain the existing high quality service and further develop our business. This varied role will involve management responsibility for operations, quality, information governance, HR, training, IT and CQC. There is a forward thinking mind-set in the Practice and you would be working with supportive partners and an excellent administrative and clinical team including an assistant Practice Manager.

Previous NHS experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
