Senior Practice Manager

West Bar Surgery is a patient-centred and friendly practice with an exciting opportunity to recruit a highly motivated Senior Practice Manager with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities will include;
• leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives
• Responsible for keeping the partners abreast of forthcoming changes in the NHS and giving them options for responding to change.
• Evolving the practice to meet the requirements set

Proven experience in strategic planning and managing people and finances will be essential to this key role, as well as the ability to work with a large team of doctors, nurses and support staff.

The practice is a founder member of the local Federation, which has been successful in its application for funding from the GP Access Fund.

The successful candidate must be comfortable in helping shape the local health economy.

Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.
