We have an opportunity for a dynamic, proactive manager to lead our enthusiastic and talented practice team. Your role would be to continue to develop the practice to maintain and improve the high quality of care we deliver.
The applicant should be able to work well in a team and look to maximise the financials of the practice, including using new and innovative methods of working.
Practice Profile
- 6300 patients
- GMS Practice
- List size growing between 8-10% per year
- High achieving training practice (Medical Students and GP trainee)
- 3 Partners (2 part-time) and 2 Salaried GPs committed to delivering high quality patient care
- 1 Nurse and 1 Healthcare Assistant
- EMIS Web
Essential Skills:
- Must have excellent knowledge of EMIS Web including searches, protocols, concepts
- Excellent budget management financial and accounting skills – previous business experience would be looked on favourably
- Excellent IT skills including Docman, MJOG, Microsoft products (specifically Microsoft excel)
- Attention to details
- Strong administration/organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team working skills and ability to deliver high quality staff training
- Effective problem solving and management capacity
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to lead and inspire a talented team of staff and clinicians
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in the NHS/Primary Care
- Qualification in General Practice Management (AMSPAR or AIM)
