Practice Manager

Great Witley Surgery is looking to recruit a friendly, highly motivated person to lead our small but comprehensive team of loyal and dedicated staff in the delivery of excellent primary care. We are a GMS training practice of 4 partners and 2 associates serving a population of 6600 patients. We work from our own premises in Great Witley and also a branch surgery in the nearby village of Martley. We dispense to the majority of our patients. We consistently do well in QoF and medicines management, and recently achieved a CQC rating of ‘good’ overall. Most importantly we achieve high ratings in patient satisfaction surveys. The successful candidate will work closely with the partners in all aspects of the day to day management of the practice, including the development of a strategic perspective in the current changing and challenging NHS environment.

The successful candidate will ideally offer:

• Proven HR leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant business and finance experience.
• High degree of computer literacy.
• A willingness to be flexible and to learn.

  Previous experience in General Practice or health care management is desirable.
