Collecting and delivery post by bicycle

Velopost have designed stamps specifically for use on small letters, large letters, and packets. You also have the option of personalising these so that your patients can easily recognise mail from your practice.

There are no hidden costs or contracts, with prices starting at 30p per item for C5/DL envelopes. Packets and parcels cost 71p per item (ex VAT), and C4 envelopes cost 45p per item.

They use bicycles as a quick, efficient, and reliable fossil-fuel-free way to delivery post. We have been using Velopost since January 2015 and chose to use them as they were cheaper than Royal Mail and Environmentally Friendly. Overall times have been fine.

We use this service to invite patients to appointments and it does take a little longer than Royal Mail but in order for our patients to receive their letters in time, we now send them out a week earlier which has not caused any problems at all.

We have regular collections from our surgery 3 x times a week.

We chose to use Velopost purely down to it being a financial decision. Velopost offered the same service as 2nd class but at a much cheaper price. We have found additional benefits - the Delivery Team collect from the surgery thereby saving us from having to send someone to the Post Office. As the riders have collected from the surgery, if there are any problems with delivery, the riders will bring the letters back to us. We have used this service for 6 months and received no comments from our customers about using this service. Velopost is easy to use! The stamps are delivered to us, we simply put the mail for the areas covered into a separate box and the Delivery Team collect them for us each day. It could not be simpler!

We find Velopost a convenient way to manage our mail. They are efficient - providing a timely mail collection without the added hassle of having to make it to a post office by a certain time. Velopost provide a fast response when stamps are needed and their Customer Service team are friendly and approachable.
