Practice Manager

We are looking for a full-time Practice Manager to lead our team of staff and support the GPs in providing medical services to our 16,500 patients in Selby, North Yorkshire. We are a large and expanding practice which is innovative, patient-centred and well placed to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead in primary care. We have purpose-built premises and a branch surgery. We are a training practice, teach medical students,  are research ready and use systmone.

We are looking for an experienced manager who can oversee a wide range of areas including staff management, finance, IT, premises development and the provision and future development of patient services. The Practice Manager will be supported by an Assistant Practice Manager and Administrative Assistant.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished manager who thrives in a team environment and who has a flexible and proactive approach. Experience of practice management or working in NHS primary care is desirable although not essential.

Pay will depend on the skills and experience of candidates but will be in the region of £43,000 and benefits include membership of the NHS pension scheme.
