Practice Manager

We are seeking a special Practice Manager to help us deliver top quality private primary healthcare and outstanding customer service to our rapidly expanding patient list.

The Walcote Practice is a dynamic, multi-award-winning independent Private General Practice in the heart of Winchester with a focus on excellent, affordable, convenient patient healthcare. We are fully registered with and regulated by the CQC and we take great pride in maintaining first-rate standards.

Our small, friendly team provides a dedicated healthcare service to the residents of Winchester and beyond, which patients are able to dovetail with their NHS provision. Since launching in June 2015, our patient list has grown rapidly to over 5000 patients and we are now seeking a motivated, diligent, forward thinking and intelligent Practice Manager with strong interpersonal skills to fulfil a key role to support our staff and business.

The post holder will take the lead on implementing practice strategy as advised by the Directors and on implementing all practice policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and high-quality practice management.  This varied role will involve management responsibility for operations, quality, governance, HR, training, IT, CQC and developing the business.

You would be working with a skilled, loyal, professional, fun and committed team of clinical and administration staff who are all great believers in work-life balance. Your office would be within a few minutes stroll of the beautiful city centre of Winchester.

The Practice Manager role can be full-time or part-time (such as 32 hours a week) by mutual agreement.  A background in General Practice management is desirable or experience of managing another type of NHS or private healthcare service.
