Practice Manager – Maternity cover

Queensway Surgery is a large medical centre in the heart of Southend-on-sea, which offers a wide range of services to patients including minor ops, cryotherapy, join injection clinics, LARC clinics, general medical services and has an on-site travel clinic. We also have a branch site open 4 mornings per week and we are the Lead surgery within our locality running a hub service and home visiting service for a population of 57,000 patients. We are a forward thinking training practice on a journey of continual growth, development and change.

We are looking for a confident, well organised, supportive, enthusiastic and experienced manager to work with the support of our Assistant Practice Manager to manage the surgery for a period of maternity leave cover. Our Practice Business Manager will be taking maternity leave from June to December.

Must have at least 2 years experience in Practice Management, preferably in a GP surgery using SystmOne.

Good I.T skills will be key, along with an ability to prioritise, motivate, and be very well organised.

Salary: negotiable depending on experience.

Hours: Full time monday to friday 9am to 5pm
