Practice Manager

Thornbrook Surgery is a rural four partner training practice caring for 9,000 patients which uses EMIS Web. The practice is situated in the High Peak of Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Easy transport routes are available from both Manchester and Sheffield.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, proactive candidate for the position of practice manager. The successful candidate will have the privilege of being supported by a highly effective administrative and clinical team.

Thornbrook Surgery welcomes applications from candidates who have excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills and are able to demonstrate knowledge of business processes, finance, HR and IT. Previous NHS management experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Thornbrook Surgery has always been innovative and forward thinking and is looking for a manager with this approach. The manager will have the vision, willingness and drive to adapt to constant changes within the NHS.

• This role attracts an NHS pension and generous annual leave entitlement.
• 37 hours per week
• Salary £37.5 - 40K depending on experience
