Practice Manager

Whitwell Surgery is seeking a dynamic and motivated leader who has a sound knowledge of management, quality and finance.   The opportunity is to work within a friendly and supportive General Practice that has approximately 2700 patients with the focus of providing the best possible care for patients and their families.  You will be responsible for the overall day to day operations and the delivery of clinical services, maximizing efficiency of the practices clinical, nursing and administrative teams.  Candidates must be conscientious, proactive have excellent IT skills and a proven track record.  Previous General Practice Management experience, leadership skills, business insight and effective communication skills at all levels are desirable but not essential.   Please see the practice website www.whitwellsurgery.nhs.uk.

The post is either full time or part time by mutual agreement with the successful candidate.  Salary dependent on experience and ability but expected to be in the range of £35,000-£40,000pa (pro rata for part time).
