Hours: Minimum 28 hours per week over 4 days

Salary: Competitive & Negotiable: commensurate with skills and experience

Minchinhampton Surgery is a successful and popular semi-rural, training and research practice with 7650 patients and 6 GP Partners. We have an Outstanding CQC rating and a supportive Patient Participation Group and a Charitable Trust.

Due to retirement in March 2019 an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Practice Manager to join the team to lead in the day to day running of the practice and play an active role in future development plans. These include moving to a new purpose built surgery within the town.

We require a diligent and intelligent Practice Manager with excellent organisational, financial and communication skills to maintain the existing high quality service and further develop our business. This varied role will involve management responsibility for operations, quality, information governance, HR, training, IT and CQC. There is a forward thinking mind-set in the Practice and you would be working with supportive partners and an excellent administrative and clinical team including an assistant Practice Manager.

Previous NHS experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
