Practice Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Practice Manager to join the team.

We are a friendly, well organised surgery located in Wideopen, Newcastle upon Tyne, and presently serve a population of 5,250 patients in a newly renovated building. Our catchment area covers Wideopen, North Gosforth and Seaton Burn.

CQC rating as Good with high levels of QOF achievement

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating effectively all aspects of the practice’s operational day-to-day business, with the support from the Partners. These responsibilities include motivating and managing the staff, optimising the efficiency and performance of the practice, ensuring that the practice meets the Care Quality Commissioning Standards and engaging with NHS North Tyneside CCG, NHS England and TyneHealth [North Tyneside’s GP Federation].

Previous experience in primary care or NHS management preferred but not essential.
