Practice/Business Manager

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished, highly motivated Practice Business Manager with strategic vision to join our well established 19,400 patients GMS Teaching practice. You will ideally have significant primary care practice manager experience but will consider exceptional candidate who can fulfil this highly important practice role and demonstrate transferable skills. Prior experience in healthcare would be an advantage however finding the right candidate with the necessary skills and ambition is our priority. The role of Business Manager in General Practice is dynamic and evolving. The job description of the Business Manager will be expected to change and evolve over time and may not be restricted to those areas already detailed herein.

Beechfield Medical Centre is situated in a purpose-built building in the heart of rural Spalding, South Lincolnshire. The practice has a growing list size of 19,400 patients. We have 2 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, 3 Advanced nurse practitioners, 2 Paramedic practitioners, 5 Practice nurses for chronic disease management, 5 Health Care Assistants and one clinical Pharmacist in addition to Primary Care Network clinical staff comprising of one pharmacist, one Physician Associate, one First Contact Physiotherapist and care coordinators. Our administrative team comprises of a Deputy Practice manager, Reception team, Dispensary team, Clinical Admin team, Secretaries and Finance team.

We are rated Good in our CQC inspection in October 2016 with latest virtual CQC review in December 2019. We are GP Training practice and high QOF achievers and we work closely with our PCN.
