This full day course will also cover a short overview of COSHH Awareness, Fire Awareness, Fire Warden, Fire Extinguisher, DSE Users, Slips Trips and Falls, Working at Height Awareness, Risk Assessment - Training on what to look for in a GP practice.
Gain insight into staying compliant with legislation such as:
- The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
- The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002
- Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR)
- Learn about HSG65 and the Plan, Do, Check, Act Approach to managing H&S.
The Health and Safety Trainer will make an informative presentation with Q&A parts to aid understanding. Each delegate will receive a certificate.
