Fire Awareness Training is a legal requirement for all staff in UK organisations. A requirement of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for England and Wales, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the associated Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 as well as The Fire Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010.
This on-site training course will ensure compliance and inform you about: fire hazards, the nature of fire and how it spreads, the law and certain obligations required to comply with it plus requirements for emergency procedures. It will provide you with a greater awareness and understanding of the threat posed by fire and explain legislation and its implications for employers and employees. It will also define your responsibilities in the prevention of an outbreak of fire and what action to take if fire occurs.

- Demonstrate an understanding of the law and certain obligations required to comply with it
- Demonstrate an understanding of emergency procedures
The Health and Safety Trainer will make a presentation to inform you about fire awareness. There will also be a practical element and Q&A part to aid understanding.

Managers, team leaders and front line staff.
