A step away from the traditional eLearning approach our virtual learning brings the trainer ‘into’ the practice via MS Teams to enhance the learner’s experience. Held every other Wednesday at 12.30pm, our bitesize workshops will focus on hot topics for you and your staff members. Upcoming courses:

2nd December 2020 at 12.30pm

Patient Feedback: In this virtual learning session, we will discuss why both negative and positive feedback matter. The session will cover complaint handling, comments, compliments and suggestions and why they all matter. The different types of feedback are intrinsically linked and one of the aims of patient feedback is to improve care and enhance patient experience. The session will last for 45 minutes.

16th December 2020 at 12.30pm

Policy and Protocol Management: In this virtual session we will discuss policies and protocols, why they matter, what are considered mandatory and expected and why it is important to review policies and protocols. We will also discuss systems for effective policy management. The session will last for 45 minutes.

6th January 2021 at 12.30pm

Duty of Candour, Ethics and Reputation: This virtual session will focus on the need to be open, transparent and honest. We will cover the contractual and legislative requirements of the Duty of Candour, explaining the link between candour, ethics and reputation. The session will last for 45 minutes.

13th January 2021 at 12.30pm

Change and Innovation: In this session we focus on the need for change and innovation in primary care. We will outline the drivers for change, how to mitigate resistance to change and how to effectively manage change. The session will last for 45 minutes.
