When: Friday 28th July 2017 (12pm to 5pm)
Where: The BMA, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP (5 mins from Euston station)

Our expert speakers will cover some of the biggest challenges facing practice managers today, with the sole aim of motivating and inspiring!
Nancy Birtwhistle
The winner of The Great British Bake Off 2014 and a former practice manager, Nancy will talk about life outside being a PM and how you can still fulfil your dreams, even after you retire.
Roy Lilley
Roy is a commentator and analyst of healthcare policy and has been voted the top UK speaker on NHS topics. Roy will talk about the future of the NHS and how this is likely to impact GP practice managers.
Jane Gunn
Jane will show you how conflict can be the magic, rather than the nightmare ingredient in general practice. You will discover how you can embrace conflict as an opportunity and motivate staff to work together for the good of your surgery.
Miles Hilton-Barber
Be prepared to be completely inspired by Miles’s story. Despite losing his sight in his early twenties, his quality of life and level of success was radically transformed at the age of 50. Miles will challenge you to look again at who you are, and how you can achieve so much more than you think you can. “The only limits in your life are those you accept yourself.”
All hosted by Dr Ahmed Kazmi, a working GP and part-time (for now!) stand up comedian.
Upon leaving The PIT you will be equipped with knowledge and insight to take back and apply to the day-to-day workings of your practice. You’ll also have the opportunity to network and interact with fellow PMs over a glass of wine or two from 4pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
