GDPR is coming but DON’T PANIC! We are here to make sure you are ready before the 25th May 2018.

Following on from the release of our popular GDPR policy template, we are pleased to announce our GDPR eLearning course is now ready. The course will ensure you understand the GDPR and how it affects general practice.

The course is written for GP practices and includes the following modules:

1. The background of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
2. GDPR terminology
3. The rights of data subjects
4. Data breaches
5. Consent and erasure (the right to be forgotten)
6. Data mapping
7. Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

Time:
The course will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You can stop and start it whenever you like. You can also skip sections, to just focus on the bits you want.

Certification:
The course has been approved by The CPD and you will receive a CPD certificate at the end of the course.

If you have not downloaded our GDPR policy, you can here. The policy will give you an overview of the regulation and how you can begin to prepare for it effectively. It includes a data mapping process template, DPIA assessment report template and a new handy GDPR checklist.
