Medical Records Storage

Railey Projects are one of the most established names in the medical record storage sector, offering free consultation, through to advice on product selection and installation services. Railey Projects have a number of solutions for the filing and storage of medical records, including the popular and market leading mobile rollastore system which can house all kinds of media.

The system is fitted using lockable bays which are mounted on a relocatable floor. The system is designed for ease of use, fast access to patient information, and as a way to save a lot of space in your premises, leaving more room for your service area and staff.

Railey Projects also have freestanding static cabinets, such as the specialist GPDP cabinet and the Desigline Medical cabinet. Both of these also offer a reduced footprint, and easy filing solutions. The system is brilliant and work was completed with the minimum of fuss and installers were efficient and professional. Our only disappointment was the lack of removal of packaging and pallets which are bulky and will require payment to remove by waste disposal company.

Incredibly easy to deal with from enquiry to installation. Excellent value for money and a massive enabler for the practice allowing us to release 2 rooms for clinical use through centralising all notes storage in one location. A massive achievement for a 24,500 patient practice.

We had a filing system installed several years ago to store all of our patients medical records. The system is working very well, but, needed more storage space. Contacted Colin recently who came out quickly and gave a quotation this was accepted then later returned to measure up, installation was carried out promptly very happy with results. Thank you

Generally pleased with the service from Colin and his team at Railex. Not the cheapest but they offered a 10 year warranty which is what swayed us. Installation was done in a day where some slight snags were discovered but overcome by the installers so nothing to worry about. All in all a good experience and a good product.

From start to finish the project was well organised by Andrew, who was very helpful and provided excellent communication throughout the process
The installation of the RAILEX storage system was completed in a day and has been a huge improvement on our old system. It has also freed up office space. I would highly recommend the system.

This is the second surgery that I have had the Railex system fitted (see case study from my previous practice, Clanricarde Medical Centre), because the system is so great! When I arrived here at my current practice, there was a very old and rickety filing system in place; it was a huge health and safety risk, as the shelving just closed down on you unexpectedly, and we had run out of space. Cue a call to the very helpful Michael Church, and once again, the system was installed in less than a day by very professional fitters. The system has allowed us flexibility for future expansion and it has made much better use of the space where it is located. All of my staff are delighted with the system, and they are now happy to go and do the filing. Bonus all round!

Absolutely delighted with our new filing system. Yes it was expensive but its brilliant. Smooth running, easy for staff and very robust. The customer service was second to none. They measured up, designed system, and had it installed, all with next to no disruption. Very impressed!

We have recently merged with three other surgeries to become St. Austell Healthcare with 32,000 sets of patients notes to accommodate. We contacted Railex for help, and have now installed a new filing system at our branch surgery. We have been very pleased with the service from Railex throughout the consultation period and installation which all went smoothly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Railex to anyone else comtemplating such a big move.

For years we struggled with notes storage but last year we were fortunate to move into brand new premises. Railex storage units were installed on our behalf. We are so pleased, we don't know ourselves! Colin was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and reliable and I have asked him a couple of queries since and he always reponds in a timely manner - we are all very impressed and highly recommend Colin and the product.

We were finding space for storing patient records a problem with trying to combine two sites together! But we now have a Railex system in place and this has solved the problem and enabled us to organise the records so we can find and work effectively and efficiently! Delivery and installation were perfectly timed and everything went very smoothly so all in all we are very happy with this company and their extreme 1st class service.

Colin was very efficient and prompt in coming to measure up for storage facilities. When we realised that some of our shelves were less deep than the others, he arranged for new storage boxes to be manufactured and delivered in a very short time. Great service!

The practice had been happily using Railex notes storage for many years, so when we merged with another surgery and moved to much larger premises we naturally asked Railex for help. The new notes area had to be completely redesigned and everything refitted in a very tight timescale. Railex were fantastic and our move went like a dream. Thank you !

Space was difficult when merging three sites into two and Railex provided us with a great space saving solution for our filing needs. They fitted our new filing system extremely quickly and very professionally and we now have a fantastic area for all our medical records which is easily accessible and secure.

Fantastic Company, with a great product, the Railex system certainly delivers the space, the removal of all our old cabinets enabled us to create an additional clinical room and have filing space in our Railex system to increase by 30%. Michael Church is also a nice chap that doesn't mess you around and in today's life of a PM makes it all so much easier to deal with. Thanks Michael and thanks Railex.

What a pleasure to work with such a knowledgable and professional company! Michael Church came to site to review our requirements, and he submitted his proposal in a very timely fashion. We actually had the installation done just before Christmas last year, and the crew were in and out within a day - with minimal disruption to the daily work of the Admin department.

All of the staff think that the new system is the bees knees - we went for the small filing boxes with thoughtful pull out shelving so that staff can work "in situ" without fear of dropping the files, and the CQC Inspectors were pleased to see that all of our patient information was securely stored within the surgery.

Michael telephoned about a month after installation to check that all was well, and it is these small gestures that stick with you. I can highly recommend Railex Projects!
