I have recently been involved in a Mock CQC Inspection facilitated by Practice Index, as a newly Registered Manager I found the exercise extremely useful and informative. Phil Coates, was friendly, approachable and made me feel at ease, ensuring that the process was as near as a ‘real inspection’ would be.

A fantastic service! I would highly recommend, for new and existing managers.

I just wanted to give some feedback on the consultancy team that went to the two of our sites. Our teams found Phil and Mat really professional and knowledgeable. They were thorough and picked up a lot of things, most we already knew about but it was good to get a second opinion. Overall, they were very happy with the way that the mock audits were carried out. We will definitely be using them for more inspections across our sites.

We had a difficult situation with a service supplier who we felt was treating us unfairly for moving to a new provider. In growing desperation we asked Practice Index if they could mediate. Like magic within 24 hours James had contacted me, spoken with them and they arranged a call with their senior team who made a reasonable settlement. I will always look to use a supplier recommended on Practice Index who has a good reputation to protect in case of any problems. Thanks for your help.

I have gone straight for the plus membership and have already signed up the whole practice to do the online GDPR training module. I think the fee is worth it alone just to have all the staff & GP Partners (all data processors) complete the GDPR training and understand the implications of the new regulations - so it is a bonus to have access to an extensive policy library as well.

There isn't a working day goes by that I don't learn from another Practice Index member's post on the forum, from an HR Policy, downloading a resource, etc.

I Oopen this site first thing each morning - I guarantee you will dip into it at least 10-20 times a day. The policies are fab and if you ask a question, you will always find you the answer from one of the other PM's.

The first thing I do when I hear off a new PM taking up a post is to email them with an offer of support & to suggest they sign up to this site as soon as possible!

I also regularly mention it at PM's meetings, just in case there is someone who hasn't yet heard me wax lyrical about the site!

I find the forums very useful and have just recommended to another PM who has started a new role and doesnt know where to find relevant info especially around CQC. Found the powerpoint presentation on CQC very helpful, always trying to be one step ahead which with the current workload is a bit of a joke!! Thanks to the forums I can find help and reassurance when needed. A great asset and will recommend to all I speak with.

One of the bright spots has been the appearance of this forum / threads , where for the first time, I feel that there is suitable place for PMs to ventilate / share / support / network etc.

I am so pleased that I have finally joined you here. I have downloaded some documents which I am sure would be useful and will allow me to clutter my desktop even more - lol. Robert Campbell guidance documents seem so thorough. When I have a moment will go through those. I had a CQC inspection last year in November, we are rated GOOD in every section but one cannot be complacent.

Thanks to James for all his hard work on here and to everyone for all the invaluable information and support I have received from this forum. At times Practice Management can feel like a lonely old place and its nice to know that 99% of PMs are feeling as stressed and overworked as I am!
