Excellent service from staff and always resolve queries promptly,

We use both Lexacom 3 and Lexacom Echo. Great products and has helped reduced secretarial time whilst assisting GPs save some time with note typing.

Over the past 4 - 5 months I have had cause to call Lexacom and on each occasion I have received excellent service. The team are knowledgeable, extremely helpful and above all else, so patient when giving guidance on how so solve a situation. Solutions are found to complicated scenarios and if that solution fails (due to user error, I might add) then there always seems to be another plan in the bag, so to speak. I have no qualms over the service received from Lexacom, as a whole, from sales and beyond.

We have been using Lexacom for a number of years and have just recently started using Lexacom ECHO which we find is easy to use and has made a huge difference to the GP's and secretaries timewise. They can see what they are dictating and for the secretaries, its already typed waiting to be transferred to referral. We have always found their support very good, they are always very friendly, helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Any problem is always dealt with efficiently. Would highly recommend.

Lexacom has made a massive difference to the Clinical Staff and Secretarial staff in terms of efficiency, ease and auditing purposes. From my point of view it is simple to operate and I like that I can see dictations as and when they are done by Clinicians and therefore prioritise my workload. Any problems I had at the start were quickly resolved by your Support Team and explained in full.

Lexacom has made my job so much more enjoyable and I would rate it a definite 5/5.

The Lexacom equipment has been a Godsend to our Secretaries. They learned their way around the system quickly and easily. Our clinicians enjoy using it too.

The Lexacom staff are also friendly and very helpful. We have had to increase the number of our licences recently as our clinical team grows and it has been a simple process.

Lexacom is a brilliant platform for digital dictation. It is user friendly and the support is second to none. Every time I have ever had to contact support, they are very very helpful, talking you through the problem in a way you can understand and ALWAYS manage to sort out the problem, even if not immediately on occasion, they will always follow it up. Excellent all round.

Been using this system for our surgery dictation for a number of years - it has always worked well.
It's a bonus that we have been able to upgrade to a cloud based system to allow our staff to use Lexacom from home.
The helpdesk, on the few occasions that we have had to use it has always been just that - helpful.

Lexacom help desk are very efficient and solve any issues straight away. Lexacom is an excellent tool to use with in Primary Care as it has many functions to be able to audit etc. GP's like to use it as its easier for them to dictate into a microphone than type a letter.

I have been using Lexacom for over 4 years now and find it to be very user friendly and easy to get on with. We have had one or two little problems with dictations getting "stuck" on the work list but I have contacted Lexacom twice on the phone and received fabulous help from them, with the problem being resolved within minutes.
Totally recommend Lexacom.

Lexacom is a really good product, as important is the customer service and support, which I can only rate as excellent, whenever I call for a re install of software etc. the team are always fully proficient and helpful and issues have always been address first time, without any hassle or need to call back, you also get through to support staff very quickly in my experience.

We have been using Lexacom for several years and recently have started to use Lexacom mobile and Lexacom scribe aswell. All three systems are excellent. The application is easy to use for the end user and when we have had an issue or query, the support team are friendly and informative. I would highly reccommend all practices to use this system.

Lexacom L3 Connect is excellent. A reliable cloud based product that works anywhere with minimal fuss. No on site servers, just a small app on each pc (and a handheld microphone, for ease of use). We would definitely recommend it to other practices. The helpdesk support is also first class. One of the best products we have adopted in recent years.

Lexacom has been a total success at the practice especially with the GP's and secretaries. Very easy to use and gets the job done for the doctors.It's to get referrals out and on there way to the hospitals. Secretaries are dependent on the digital dictations to get a clear copy of the dictation from the doctor.All very safe to use and you can always audit trail dictations.Totally recommend Lexacom.

Fabulous Service! I wanted the add 2 new users to our system and this needed 2 new hand held microphones and the software download link to add Lexacom to the 2 new computers at our GP Practice. Jackie was really helpful, explained all I needed to do, verified that our current number of licences will be sufficient and ordered 2 new microphones for me. Super service and Highly Recommended

We have used Lexacom for a number of years now and find it very easy to use and navigate. It allows you to track all dictations that have been sent which enables you to re-listen to old dictations rather then them being deleted altogether which has come in handy many of times! It is easy to create new users and have never had any complaints from the GPs regarding the voice recording. It sets out 2ww, Urgent and Routine referrals clearly which helps in prioritising the workload. The team at Lexacom have always been on hand if I have ever needed any information and respond to queries quickly and couldn't be more helpful! I would definately recommend.

We have been using Lexacom for the past 4 years and have nothing but praise for it. The dictating is easy for clinicians from both work computer and laptop, and easy for the secretaries to pick up.

I have been a Medical Secretary for 20 years and Lexacom Type has revolutionised the way I work. No more fuzzy, difficult to hear tapes or having to listen to each dictation to search for any urgent items. It's instantaneous, so clear and all the information you need is on screen. We have been using it for two years and it really is amazing. I would not want to work anywhere now that does not have it!!!

It is not very often we have problems with Lexacom but on the occasions we do encounter problems they are always very quick and efficient in fixing the problem. If this can be done immediately then they will fix the issue, if it is not something which can be resolved straight away they always fix as soon as is possible and keep you updated of any progress.

I spoke with a lady called Sarah who was very helpful indeed, she resolved my new foot pedal connectivity problem in about five minutes. I had gone via other routes which did not resolve the problem, but once I had got through to your service I felt reassured and knew it would be sorted out for me quickly and effectively. She also offered to install the latest version of Lexacom for me.

Lexacom is easy to use and much safer than the old tapes that we used to use as the dictations can't be lost or damaged. Urgent dictations are easily identifiable (if the GP has marked them as such) and can therefore be picked out of the list easily rather than searching through a tape. Having the dictation linked to the patient means the correct record is retrieved when you click on the file. The odd glitches we have had are either sorted out by ourselves or by a telephone call to Lexacom who are always very helpful. Overall I think Lexacom is an effective and unobtrusive typing solution.

Lexacom digital dictation is so easy to use. This now allows us to prioritise our dictation easily rather than scrolling through tapes. As I have seldom used/done any typing from dictation I have found this to be so easy and quick that I know look forward to helping out the secretary when her workload is vast. I would definitely recommend this product. The team at Lexacom are very pleasant and helpful and have sorted any issues we may have had initially(due to our error) within hours. Great team. Great Product.

We needed to update 2 laptops urgently with Lexacom so that 2 staff members could work from home. The support service were brilliant. Very patient as our network speed was very slow, but they kept with it! Following installation, we had issues with the VPN/WIFI at the staff members homes and once again sorted very quickly and efficiently

Have been very happy with Lexacom. It is useful now we work over 6 sites and has been a straightforward process when other practices have joined us. A couple of our remote workers are now using Lexacom mobile which has been easy to set up too. I note there are some speech recognition options too which I haven't investigated yet, but intend to.

Overall I like the Lexacom dictation system. Easy to use. The ability to dictate from home via mobile phone has also proved helpful when having to unexpectedly be working from home during Covid pandemic. The auto-population of patient details from EMIS is useful (though quite slow) but I would like to see better integration, such as a write back note left in EMIS that the dictation has been done (pending typing). At present it is not possible to tell if a letter or referral that a colleague has said they would do is awaiting typing or been forgotten!

We started using Lexacom in February this year, which given the current climate was perfect timing. Before Lexacom we were still using tapes and dictaphones, prehistoric I know. During lockdown our shielding secretary was able to work from home as were any GPs that ended up self-isolating. Installation was painless and the training session excellent. Fantastic communication, especially from Jackie Faulkner. Also offered the Lexacom Mobile App, which allowed our doctors to work fully, without limitations from home, during the pandemic. We have never considered changing our dictation software to anything else, seamlessly works with Emis and so easy to use.

We have been using Lexacom for a year now and we are so happy with this product. Our secretaries and GP's love this and use it to its full potential. We can highly recommend Lexacom dictation systems. From obtaining the quote through to the installation I cannot praise them highly enough. This is by far the easiest system we have ever used and not one of my GPs required any training. We have been up and running for quite a few months and had no issues. We dealt with Simon who is very knowledgeable and keeps in touch with us to ensure we are happy with everything.

A couple of our GPs have been using Lexacom mobile for a while now and highly rate the product, and have been sharing positive experiences with the other GPs in the Practice. However since Covid-19 pandemic and the need to work remotely, all 7 of our GPs are now signed up and using it. Its been a game changer for us. Its very simple to set up. A fantastic addition to the Lexacom suite of products.

Due to having a few PC’s replaced, recently, we had issues with Lexacom not working. Both times I called the helpdesk, I was lucky enough to have the phone answered by the same Support Engineer. Both times she was friendly and fixed the issue quickly. The second time I called she even took the time to show me what she did so that I can fix it myself if we get any more issues with the new computers – I am pretty technically minded. This is the sort of service one should expect from a ‘Support’ helpdesk, and all too often this isn’t the case (This is a generalisation about most ‘Support’ desks I have encountered). It make our lives, in practice, so much easier to have quick friendly support at the end of a phone. Thank you, Lexacom!

We have always had a great experience dealing with Lexacom- when we first asked for a quote Ben was really helpful and came out to give us a demo. The installation was quick and simple and the engineer was able to work around our busy clinics. The months free trial was great for our staff to get used to the system and decide if it was right before committing to pay. The system works smoothly and both our secretaries and doctors find it simple, safe and easy to use. Throughout the whole process our account manager Ben has been fast and helpful when replying to any queries.

We have now had Lexacom for 8 weeks and it's just brilliant!!! We are so pleased to now have our 4 surgeries linked together on the system. It's easy to use and the ability to connect to SystmOne is just perfect.
No longer do our dictations get lost - it's been a huge time saver!

We have been using Lexacom for over 12 years now and during this time have found it to provide an excellent system for our clinical staff. The support is excellent and we have found very little problems with it and it is very much embedded in our ways of working at the Surgery. I would highly recommend this solution to any surgery looking for a digital dictation system.

Lexacom is easy and straightforward to use (both admin and clinical). Much clearer to hear than our old system of using dictaphones and tapes. Minimal teething issue due to Microsoft updates sending ports to sleep therefore handsets did not always work. Did not happen on every PC however this issue is now resolved. Lexacom helpdesk respond quickly therefore issue resolved timeously. I would definitely recommend to another practice.

The service provided from start to finish was excellent. After many years of struggling with our ancient Dictaphone where the clarity of speech was horrendous with tapes, this machine has brought joy back to typing letters for practice staff not having to replay and replay the tapes trying to understand what was being said.

We have recently moved to Lexacom and have found the Lexacom service seamless from start to finish. The system is intuitive, which the practice GPs and Clinical Secretary really appreciate, but not too intrusive, and a very cost effective dictation solution. You can really tell that the system has been developed by and with GPs - we experienced none of the usual having to change the way we work to fit in with how the proprietary piece of software operates. Excellent support from the sales team (Simon Brady - thanks for the demo and answering all my questions), and technicians (Chris Butler - who had us up and running, right across the practice, in super quick time). We're now looking at giving the Voice-to-Text Lexacom Echo system a whizz... from previous experience the bar has been set high, but I fully expect Lexacom to meet the challenge.

Pleasure dealing with a professional friendly organisation that care and stand out from the rest. From our first enquiry to being fully integrated with Lexacom has been seamless. I would recommend the onsite training to get off to a fast start... The product is of quality build and reliable. I am pleased to say that everyone has embraced this new transcription system within our Practice and we have seen great results. We particularly like the fact that urgent transcriptions are easily visible and can be dealt with accordingly and that nothing can be lost or deleted. The team had excellent training and there is telephone support too should it be needed.

I have been using Lexacom for the dictation of referral letters and medical reports and have found it not only speeds up the process of getting a letter away which is good for patients, but also my own time management. The app has also been a fantastic bonus for those times Iv needed to take work at home though remote access, I know my letters via the app will be typed up in my absence.

I have also been making use of “Dragon Dictate Medical” also supplied by Lexacom, this is speech recognition software that works on any open platform in windows. As a dyslexic doctor my patent record entry is the most challenging part of my consultation 10min slot because it need to be accurate. The speech recognition software provided has been a game changer for me and I hardly use my keyboard since it was installed. It worked with my voice from the moment I logged in; its rare I need to correct it and it learns never to make that same mistake again when corrected.

Both packages are an excellent addition to our practice and would find it hard to go back.

The software has allowed us to create this, benefiting from economies of scale and more efficient working. The team, from sales right through to technical support are great, we never have a problem with them. The clinical staff like the program and find it easy to use. I would highly recommend this product.

The review screen is really helpful as it is simple to check which referrals have been received and completed.

Lexacom with Speech Recognition. This is a simple way to reduce the time spent completing clinical entries in emis. This is particularly helpful where detailed entries are required. The system recognises medical terminology and I have been impressed by the overall accuracy. I have not been using the software for long and with time I will be able to use dragon when dictating letters, sending emails and completing my appraisal documents. I feel it is highly likely that in the future all the partners in the practice will be using dragon.

Although we have only had the system a short time we are more than happy with it, particulalry love the fact that we can view the number of outstanding dictations and they are graded and also if they are urgent/routine. This allows us to prioritise our workload especially when we are short staffed. Another great feature is the fact that it is all audit trailable and helps to keep track of all referrals.

Pre-installation was very efficient and communication was very prompt and accurate. The Lexacom engineer worked with our IT Department preparing for the installation with minimal disruption to the Practice.

The installation and training went smoothly, very informative and the engineer was very flexible and accommodating throughout the process.

Using Lexacom in practice has allowed us to prioritise the referrals as we can now see at a glance, which referrals are urgent. The referrals show instantly on the system which allows us to action referrals efficiently.

GP's and staff find the Lexacom system easy to use and I would happily recommend Lexacom as a company.

The GP's, typists and Management all enjoy the benefits of having Lexacom. So much easier than the tapes and all referrals done so quick. We have 2 branch sites where we can have staff also doing the typing therefore freeing staff at other sites for other jobs. Easy to track what referrals are waiting and what have been done.
It did take some time for us to convince the GP's to go with Lexacom but we all now wish we had done it years ago!

Lexacom have been a joy to partner with, our account manager provided very clear guidance on how the system would work. Once Lexacom was installed we found the system to be very straightforward to use, performing exactly as discussed with our account manager.

Installation of the service was very smooth and although I have not often had reason to contact support, on the odd occasion that we have needed some assistance, the support center has also been excellent.

The mobile app enables our GPs to manage their workload at a time convenient to them and the integration with SystmOne is both seamless and allows for more effective workload prioritisation by the secretaries. We have been Lexacom users for around 12 months. We find the product extremely easy to use and have had no need to contact their support team at any time. Some GPs are using the smartphone app to dictate their home visit consults and referrals whilst at the patient's home. The consultation is then typed up by a secretary within minutes and this saves the GP making a return journey if the visit is at the end of his/her day. Recently thre was a secretarial staffing crisis at a local surgery. We arranged to have access to their Lexacom cloud and their clinical system and our secretaries did their dictation and Choose and Book referrals to help them out.

We are delighted with Lexacom and the way it has changed the way we process referrals and other letters - we feel we are more efficient an are working more safely. We have only recently upgraded from analogue dictation and it has revolutionised our typing. We had been using old analogue equipment which was starting to fail, and having researched, Lexacom came with good recommendations. Everyone has embraced the new system and it has made the secretaries workload much more manageable, with no piles of tapes arriving on their desk at 5.30. Our turnaround time on urgent referrals is now almost immediate, and everything else is checked and sent much quicker than before. We operate over two sites and it has saved not only time, but mileage when any of our secretaries is on annual leave.
It really is an excellent tool for improving efficiency at a time when any time saving is really useful.

The practice team embraced Lexacom with some hesitation, how we loved tangling up tapes, not knowing if there was an "urgent one" budried in the dictation or loosing a tape, remembering to do that referral.... We are truly converted! The administration team absolutely love the new system, its auditable, it is easy to use, work priorities can be made and nothing gets lost, left or missed.
You will not be disapointed it saves time, is efficient and you have a happy administration team, GP's and patients. Now that has to be worth considering! Something great working in the NHS.

We were already using digital dictation prior to moving over to Lexacom and there was some doubt amongst the GP Partners that the switch would make a difference. We have now been using Lexacom for 6 months and none of the GP partners would switch back and the whole practice team has seen benefits. It has eliminated all the issues we had with our old dictation system and has helped increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
Lexacom were extremely helpful and informative during the procurement stage, the installation was managed by them brilliantly and the couple of times we have had to use support they have dealt and solved with a query effectively.

Recently installed Lexacom Digital Dictation in the practice. All of the GPs and administrative staff find it extremely easy to use and very efficient. Turnaround times for referrals has been dramatically reduced within the practice as a result. More often than not, dictation can be processed and signed off by a GP within hours of the patient being seen (and sometimes even within the same consulting session). Working over 2 surgery sites with only 1 secretary at the main surgery site meant that delays in her receiving the dictation are now a thing of the past. Great customer service from Lexacom and the installation staff on the day were very informative. Would definitely highly recommend.

We moved onto Lexacom 6 months ago and have found it very easy to work with. The doctors were used to the traditional dictation method but found the transition very easy. The training and support was great. It's really easy to track referrals and the clarity of the recording is also good.

We have had Lexacom for just over 6 months. The transition and installation was seamless. The doctor's save so much time now. The dictation is clear. The system is a lot more secure and easy to use. You can prioritise your work load and see at a glance the work that needs doing instantly . I would highly recommend this to any of my neighbouring practices.

We recently had Lexacom installed. The initial consultation to see how the system works with our clinical system was really informative and extremely helpful. I wanted to be sure that this was going to save the practice time and that it would be effective and efficient before I committed to the installation. Once installed, which was seamless, it made a huge difference to both the GP's and the Medical Secretary in terms of time saving, and they all found the system really easy to navigate. I would certainly recommend Lexacom

We find Lexacom easy to use and invaluable to the workflow in the Practice. The flexibility with being able to find and retrieve dictations has proved very useful on more than one occasion. We also use the transcription service which has been a life saver when short staffed! The support has always been excellent.

Fantastic product. Echo really helps with medical terminology, having a cloud-based system has made working across sites so much quicker.

We have only been using Lexacom for a short while, but I honestly don't know how we coped before. The clarity of the dictation is far superior to tapes, the management of workflow is so much easier. Our secretary is able to see urgent letters as soon as they come into her inbox and can generate immediately. Our Partners are able to dictate letters from home. This is a huge benefit as if they are part time, they can still send in work to the Secretary and she receives a constant, steady workflow rather than being inundated with work that the Partners have built up on several tapes.
From the moment we contacted Lexacome, they have been extremely efficient. it has been a quick and easy transition to this new digital systems and we could not be happier

Great product - wish we had had it years ago. Gets the dictation from GP to typist super quick. Would especially like to praise the Help Desk - always very helpful and informative (and very patient with a bit of a technophobe like myself). Also, phone is answered usually within a minute or so with no queuing - Amazing!!

Within one week Lexacom transformed our dictation management. Our GPs are of the view that this system has transformed the way they work probably more than any other system change in recent years. Our secretaries always know their workload and we can respond quickly to flex hours as necessary.

How I wish we had changed to Lexacom years ago! No more rewinding tapes backwards and forwards or playing 'hunt the urgent referral' its so much easier to see them listed clearly on the screen with urgent referrals highlighted clearly. The system is very easy to use and on the rare occasion we have needed to call support we have been given an excellent service.

With all the current pressures that we face we need to think smart and think efficient about our daily activity - Lexacom is the ideal partner to support that mentality. It is an excellent tool to manage complex responsibilities as it supports the efficient management, prioritisation and completion of a critical workload. The process of changing from archaic tape dictation to a digital process was both simple and smooth - and a great boost to staff morale !

I would highly recommend Lexacom especially Lexacom Echo. We previously used digital dictaphone a, each GP had there own machine. We wanted to reduce the secretary’s workload, to manage the workflow better, to monitor the workload, see what was outstanding as each office experiences different levels of demand, so that the secretaries could help each other to clear letters. We also wanted something that was easy for secretaries to use and to eliminate the danger of the Dictaphone’s going missing. In addition we wanted a system which used speech recognition to reduce the time spent on typing. The secretaries at the practice don’t just do typing, they carry out all tasks associated with their GP i.e taking all calls in their office to book appointments, prescriptions, queries, scanning documents etc. So to reduce their workload was the main objective. Lexacom Echo is easy to use, very clear and the transcription is improving the more it's used. Both the GPs and secretaries are managing their workload better due to the tracking and using one secretary pool for all dictation. This was our aim so we're pleased with it.

We have completed our 30 day trial & could not live without Lexacom now. Real panic at thought we might lose it even for a day. Transformed process into a super efficient service. Gp's get letters at end of each session to sign, no blank or lost tapes, full audit history & tweaks that have improved interaction with clinical systems over the years. Clinicans, Secretaries and PM's ALL think its the best thing since sliced bread.

Our practice has been using this system since May 2016. The quality of the system is excellent. Both Clinicians and Secretaries are very happy with the performance.

From a management perspective it has improved our audit tracking and is so easy to use.

Wish we'd thought about this years ago. We've been using analogue dictation until now, and had a few nightmare scenarios with blank tapes, lost tapes and "buried" urgent referrals over the years. Tried the 30 day trial and ALL the gps were enthused to keep the system after the free trial. The added transparency in both directions is much safer than tapes and the automatic link to patient's clinical record helps reduce the likelihood of the wrong patient being written to / about. It seems expensive to install, but over the lifetime of the hardware it works out very reasonable for hardware, and the licences and support are not too expensive going forward. Replacement analogue handsets and tapes are becoming more expensive, so it made sense to us to go digital now. I'd happily recommend it!

This system has been a very valuable tool for our practice, The system is easy to use and even the most technophobic person can easily adapt to it. It has drastically reduced the processing and waiting times for typing of letters and has enabled all staff to better manage and prioritise their workload. The benefits have been felt throughout the entire practice from Patients, Secretaries, Admin staff and of course Clinicains. The service desk support team have been excellent too.

We were interested in a user friendly, yet sophisticated Digital Dictation System which offered us a broader range of service than a simple digital dication. Lexacom system dose all of these. Without the doubt the fact that the entire practice team could try the system for free for 30 days allowed us to have the system working our way and to see if it met our expectation. Lexacom were excellent in making the upgrade from version 2 to 3 in the most simplest and convenient way. Lexacom 3 is more user friendly with a cleaner interface making it easier to use for GPs and secretaries. The intigration with SystmOne is hugely beneficial.

Lexacom were excellent in making the upgrade from version 2 to 3 in the most simplest and convenient way. Lexacom 3 is more user friendly with a cleaner interface making it easier to use for GPs and secretaries. The intigration with SystmOne is hugely beneficial.

We had Lexacom installed just over 6 months ago and everything has been so easy. The training was simple and easy to understand. It is easier to prioritise work as it is all visible at a glance including how long each piece of dictation is. Work flows from the doctor to the secretaries quicker as they don't wait to fill a tape up. The secretaries are delighted with the system and we have no complaints from the doctors.
The only slight niggle the secretaries have reported is that the volume isn't that loud so you need to ensure your doctors don't whisper.

This dictation software has proved very beneficial for the practice, particulary due to been across 3 sites. This has reduced the time taken for referrals to be typed by the centralised secretarial team and the GP team find it very user friendly.

The secreatiral team find now that the workload can be equally shared due to receiving the referrals instantly rather than them been saved on a tape to come across at the end of the week. Also the dication is much clearer than the old system (dictation tapes).

Overall, has proved to be a positive change.

All of us loved the product and it has made a massive difference to our secretaries being able to manage their workloads.

Top notch. Installed in Oct 2015 and it was like a dream. Dead easy on install and intuitive. The GPs love the iphone and android apps and use them to dictate whilst on home visits or when they get home. We're using a combination of smartphone apps, desktop microphones and some digital Dictaphones for locum or branch surgery work. The traceability through the system is so much better than the old tapes, with nothing getting lost and no IG risks anymore. Very pleased with the system.

We installed Lexacom 3 back in July 2015 and we haven't looked back, best decision in a while! Everyone at Lexacom has been incredibly helpful and professional, ensuring a swift set up and fast responses to any blips that have occurred; Lexacom links really well to SystmOne.
All the team are really pleased with the ease of use; GPs, medical secretaries and myself as Practice Manager. The administrators' platform is great for seeing outstanding dictation and managing resource, and there is really useful tracking for the med secs, from dictation to dispatch. We've recently had to sign up to the outsourced dictation due to staff absence and were amazed at the ease in which we were able to start using the service. This has really helped us as we've not had to switch staff from other areas to cover, at short notice.

I am very pleased with this system it is much better than our old tapes and dictating machine. We are still having teething problems as it is all very new. Is there any way you can rewind dictation with one button rather than use the footpeddal. I wasn't here for the training as on holiday for the week so it may be something simple. Or possibly further training could be offered.

From our initial demonstration meeting with Simon Brady, Lexacom have been first class. We initially went through a free 1 month's trial of the system, which allowed us to thoroughly use the system to ensure that it was an upgrade on our current dictation system....which it was.

The install and the training provided by Jeremy was what we needed. The installation of the software was quick and went without any real problems. We had a session with our secretaries and then a big group session with our clinicians. Due to the ease of use of the Lexacom software, only half hour was really needed to give the both sets of staff a overview on how to use the system. This was then followed up by myself when needed with individual staff members.

The software is easy to use from all sides - secretaries, clinicians and administrators. The dedicated microphones are also a must. It makes doing a dictation so much easier.

I would recommend Lexacom to any practice that has issues with how they make, manage and transcribe their dictations.

Have recently started using digital dictation and GPs have adapted to this quickly, we also have two sites and it is working well between both using terminal services. Secretarial staff have provided excellent feedback regarding using this. Dictation is clear, quick and there is no need to visit other sites to pick up dictation. Dealing with the company was also good and having a months free trail also helps. Certainly a hit with our practice and would highly recommend it to others.

We had always used tapes and dictaphones, but due to the high volume of letters we were finding it difficult to locate urgent letters and two week referrals. We have had Lexacom for around 3 months now and wished we had had this sooner. The secretaries and Doctors have found it easy to use. With the indicator of urgent, routine, two weeks etc. it has made life a lot easier. We have had no issues or problems following the installation and would recommend this system to anyone.

Having used Lexacom in the past at other practices, I wanted to introduce the practice to this great new digital dictation system.
We have found that Lexacom has improved patient experience and patient outcomes.

Lexacom integrates seamlessly with Emis Web, we will be fully confident that every dictation has the right patient details associated and is filed in the correct patient’s notes.
The practice, which serves 4,500 patients, will improve its efficiency significantly when we switch to Lexacom.

Tracking dictations and keeping on top of workload will be easier and the sound quality and speed of the system will be a much higher quality, thus improving speed of referrals and improving again the high level of service we provide.

This system will markedly improve the environment and workload for our admin team, less paper, as Lexacom has a function which electronically transfers letters without having to print off. Time management will be greatly improved as much time is spent on looking for particular patients on the current system. These contributing factors all will improve the secretaries and clinicians workload and with a more efficient way of working.

The support we have had from Lexacom during the initial set up and training has been excellent, they have gone out of their way and nothing has been to much trouble for the team.

I would highly recommend Lexacom.

After using dictaphones and cassette tapes for many years we trialled Lexacom and have gone onto buying the full software. Works very well in the practice, the doctors are able to dictate during consultaton a lot easier and the secretarial staff pick this up almost instantly. No more cassette tapes snapping. It's very user friendly and the support helpline is good.

We have recently had a month's trial of Lexacom. All the Doctors using the system as well as the secretaries are greatly impressed and we will be going ahead and purchasing the system. We are a busy practice with over 12,000 patients. The secretaries have found the system helpful and the Doctors have commented that they can dictate a 2 week urgent referral during the surgery and by the end of their morning session the letter is waiting for their signature and feel that this has greatly improved patient care.

We have used Lexacom at this practice for a few years and all the GPs have been impressed by its versatility. When we changed clinical systems 18 months ago we were impressed by its integration facility which makes it so much easier for our typist as all details for the patient are linked. I have always found the support team more than able to assist with any IT problems and having contacted them for assistance with having to reload Lexacom after our recent computer upgrade they gave me very clear concise guide and I was able to reinstall it onto all of the clinical room computers very quickly. This means that any of our GPs or locums can dictate easily.

I have always found the support team more than able to assist with any IT problems and having contacted them for assistance with having to reload Lexacom after our recent computer upgrade they gave me very clear concise guide and I was able to reinstall it onto all of the clinical room computers very quickly. This means that any of our GPs or locums can dictate easily.

Lexacom Digital Dictation works very well in the Practice. Its user friendly for both doctors and the secretarial staff. Any problems and the help desk is only a phone call away where all staff are most obliging and very helpful.

Very smooth transition from old style tapes to new digital dictation. The secretary has been very impressed by the clarity of the dictations - making even difficult dictations easier to transcribe.

We have used digital dictation for years and have just had a trial with Lexacom which was very well received, much happier that Lexacom integrates with Vision. We are about to have Lexacom installed in the Practice after the trial and if the after sales service is anywhere near the service Simon Brady has given in the past few months we will be very happy.

As a practice, we have used digital dictation for many years. We recently moved to Lexacom, having visited their stand at last year's EMIS National Conference, and haven't looked back. It fully integrates with our clinical system (EMIS Web). The GPs and secretaries find it very easy to use and from a management point of view, you can track each dictation, with a click of a button. I love the fact that you can run reports and export them to excel. Setting up new users is a breeze. The support and training we received was second to none and I can honestly say that I wish we had moved sooner.

Had some comments from our Doctors about Lexacom being a bit slow when it is first opened and I (secretary) have noticed that it can crash occasionally, but other than that it has been very good, very easy to use and would recommend.

We have had no problems with the Lexacom system. Our secretaries and GPs are very happy with the system. We have just had a computer update to Windows 7 and had no problems resulting from the upgrade. Excellent package would recommend it.

We started using Lexacom some months ago now, I wish we'd done it sooner! It is an excellent facility for dictation, clear, concise, easy to monitor and review. Customer service and aftercare have also been excellent. It took me some persuasion for the GPs to agree to purchase the software but now we all agree we don't know how we managed without it.

Lexacom is a very easy to use system, which helps the secretary to prioritise her workload and when working for 7 GPs is not the easiest of tasks. The Lexacom team who supply and support the system are also extremely helpful.

Our secretaries and GP's all find this system easy to use and the process of dictation to finished letter is so much easier and faster since moving to the digital system from our old tape system. The ease with which secretaries can pick off the urgent letters without having to listen to full tapes is worth the switch alone but they also find the clarity of the voices on the digital system much better. we should have done this years ago.

Lexacom digital dictation has improved our referral efficiencies and enabled a more steamline approach to how we manage our secretarial workload.It integrates well with SystmOne and allows visible workflow between urgent and routine referrals. Would recommend the Mobile App for home visits etc.... Using the app allows the GP to dictate the home visit to android or iphone which is safely and securely uploaded to lexacom at the practice in "real time". Would recommend Lexacom.

Lexacom is 10 x better than the digital dictation system that it replaced in our Practice. It integrates with EMIS Web and the sound quality is far superior. The set up process was quick and efficient. Doctors and secretaries alike are very pleased with it. Lexacom respond quickly and efficiently when support is required - though that has hardly been needed so far. I would definitely recommend this product.

We invested in digital dictation in October 14 and I cant fault Lexacom. Flawless implementation, great product and five-star technical support to get our ten doctors and three secretaries up and running with new technology in next to no time. My only regret is in not doing it sooner.

We have just moved over to Lexacom, the install & training was excellent, back-up & help are excellent too. We have saved secretarial time and turnaround of letters is on average less than 24 hours now. We love it. Thank you Lexacom.

Being new to GP I have been upgrading various systems and processes so when my GP's were constantly complaining about issues of wasted time and lack of reliability in our dictation equipment, I was driven to look at what other options were available. Replacing the existing dictaphones and transcriber became a difficult and costly option so I looked at digital options available. I quickly narrowed down my search to just Lexacom based on cost, reliability, and EMIS integration. Persuading my GP's on the initial cost was still a challenge. The free trial was the deal breaker. I knew digital was the way forward - the trial persuaded my GP's and I was told to keep it regardless of cost. They loved it. Not only is it quicker and easier for GP's but it has saved time for the secretary too. Added to this, the management tool is very handy to monitor workload and track current or historical dictations/referrals. Definitely no turning back here - Lexacom has been a very worthwhile investment.

Very good service. Excellent package! Our GP’s and Typists love it. The audit tool is brilliant for me as manager. It enables me to run audits on specific referral types and assists me with business planning etc. I have recommended it to the other surgeries within Sheffield.

Until earlier this year we used dictation machines. We moved over to Lexacom as our dictation machines were dated and beginning to fail. Great system. Everything can be tracked. You know where each referral is up to. No more lost dictation, no more 'its the secretary thats lost it, no, its the doctor whos not dicatated it'. It is very very easy to use - probably the best system we have purchased in order to make the running of the Practice smoother and more efficient. Would highly recommend.

This is the fourth practice where I have been involved with the installation of Lexacom and on every occasion the GPs and Secretaries have been really impressed with both the ease of use of the system and the customer service provided by the company. The product is now in its third version and the improvements made have all been excellent and added functions that the customer has wanted. Installation has been quick and easy every time and I would have no hesitation in saying that I consider it to be an excellent product, cost-effective, reliable and definately fit for purpose.

We took advantage of the free months trial and within the first hours we were completely happy with the product. Very easily sits alongside and interacts with current software (EMIS Web) and has made our organisation more efficient from day 1.

Lexacom has made the practice referral system more efficient than the old method of tapes. We can now identify the urgent and 2 week referrals instantly without fast forwarding the tape. The referrals are with the secretary at a press of a button. the reporting facilty allows us to monitor the workload and as we practice over 2 sites we no longer have to have a dedicated secretary at both sites. The mobile phone app is brilliant the GPs can work from home or the patients home and again the letters are received by the secretary within seconds.
